my clinic still wants me to continue with PIO injections pessaries and test again at 14 days which I think is a bit excessive and a waste of money, pain and even more anguish. I thought the latest clinics say is 12 days post transfer. Does anyone else clinic say 14 days?

10dp5dt and less that 1 on Beta hcg blood test so think this must have failed this time.
Hi Ladydb - I too find it frustrating different clinics have different approaches to OTD and testing methods.
Whilst I had a bad experience with Create, I find that their approach is most sensible. It is beta HCG on day 9 and urine on day 11. My current clinic wants beta on day 14; because this was my 4th transfer, I went and got my blood tested on day 10 (day 9 was a Sunday). It was a very low number - 57, I did a repeat 2 days later, (it did not double) and knew it was over.
A hCG level of less than 5 mIU/mL is considered negative for pregnancy. If you have been pregnant before, you will know your body best. However, if this is your first pregnancy, perhaps heed their advice?
All the best.
Yes I agree that seems a sensible approach.
it just seems pointless at this stage when I’m still getting stark negatives everyday on the sensitive pre period pee tests. I know my body pretty well (have been pregnancy quite a few times) and am definitely not pregnant, I have known all the other times.
I’m staying in the meds and still testing but it does just seem like it’s prolonging the agony.
