Who is confused? My surgery or me?
However, I am being sent for an
ACTH
blood test Is this the same thing (I don't think so as I have not been asked to miss the steroid dose and there is no indication that this
ACTH
test involves two samples of blood etc). Or is there something I am not understanding?

Adrenal tumour - anyone here with experience with it?
My endo said he's suspecting adrenal adenoma since my
ACTH
was low, blood cortisol high, unable to raise thyroid meds or raising and having symptoms. Anyone here diagnosed with it or know anything about it? Thank you 🤗

Low cortisol
gave hyperthyroidism especially with my symptoms of fatigue, abdominal pain, weakness and graves in my family, etc however I did the tests and my TSH have now come back in range (unmedicated ) but she said my cortisol should have been really 300+ but it’s come back at 230 so she’s referred me for an

Looking for help :(
Had an appt with my GP today as I am honestly suffering with symptoms and my recent
ACTH
, RF, CRP etc all came back normal. I was really banking on one of these being the cause because I’d been told my thyroid is fine. The only thats not normal is my FSH, prolactin and LH.

A few Things ….
I had an
ACTH
test yesterday as my recent cortisol level was low. I was told my TSH would be tested but not T4 and T3. However when I got there, it was a full thyroid profile being done. I had breakfast in the morning but no caffeine.

Another update on potential meds intolerance
I have been prescribed by two of my endos hydrocortisone and even prednisone for a couple of months as my
ACTH
is also low in range. Interestingly aldosterone is double the range! Normally should be low alonside low cort, so I wasn't prescribed Florinef for low aldo.

Need encouragement :(
I've had so many tests, worked on a myriad of things - iron infusion (didn't lift my crushing fatigue or didn't stop hairloss), estrogen prog patch, trying most meds multiple NDTs and synthetics, had several cortisol salivary and blood tests,
acth
, aldosterone, rt3 etc.

ACTH Levels
Hello, All! Does any of our group have high/low/regular levels? If so, what are you taking or not taking and, most importantly, how do you feel, energy level etc? Last one I had was at 151-don't take anything, good energy..

My first endocrinologist visit
Comprehensive metabolic panel Aldosterone Renin Cortisol (baseline)
ACTH
(baseline) DHEA Will these tests even reveal anything if I'm on 7 mg pred? Was he correct in ordering them? Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated, as I'm a bit worried he doesn't know what he's doing.

symptomatic bm’s
The
ACTH
was borderline and there was a flat response to the glucagon test. In the same year I paid for a saliva test which showed the level of cortisol to be ok. So I only have to take oral hydrocortisone if I’m having surgery, in stressful situations or injury.

Cortisol testing
I have had the
ACTH
test at the hospital which demonstrates my adrenal gland is working. Yet I am pretty much bedbound. I am making an appointment with Sarah Myhill as I am not getting very far with the NHS medical model :( Anyone out there had success with supplements?

Breathlessness when walking up slight gradients/stairs
I should pick up a prescription for a beta-blocker and blood thinner today, so we'll see how I fare with these, meanwhile it back to trying to get an
Acth
test I think. He-Ho.

Low Estradiol and low Iron - is it Thyroid?
I'm still waiting on results on
ACTH
and Aldosterone, and salivary cortisol My estradiol and iron were fine in July and August and they dipped the last couple of weeks. Could thyroid meds drain iron and estradiol? I'm 39 yrs old, have periods, on average 25-26 day cycles.

goserelin and ACTH
I am wondering how and if GnRH medications like Zoladex impact the
ACTH
production and if the activity of the adrenal production of adrenal androgens feeds the prostate cancer cells independently of the LH / testosterone route.

Synacthen Test Results
Could I not be producing enough
ACTH
? If it's not that then any advice how to raise cortisol naturally would be great.
