Sudden diagnosis of CKD3 a few months following adrenalectomy
My wife was borderline cushing's disease back in fall. For years she had a nodule on her adrenal gland that was creating significant health issues. Had surgery to remove the one gland back in November, and then was on a course of hydrocortisone for about 4 months (gradually decreasing dosage until done

Had the ablation.
Monday I had the procedure under general anesthesia-safely and successfully. The did give IV cortef at the start of the procedure. Since they needed to intubate my throat is sore for days but my ears-especially the right one are achy. I was debating why aching now; pollen count is moderate, and my jaw

Forteo
During the trials for Forteo what percentage of the patients developed bone cancer and what type of bone cancer did they develop? Also has anyone taken it longer than 2 years?

Suspected Cushings or just hypo
Hey everyone, My endo is sending me for an MRI of pituitary and CT of chest, pelvis, abdomen and adrenals. My salivary cortisol seems to go up a lot after adding t3, my blood cortisol is over range and I'm having issues raising thyroid meds, keeping me in a hypo state. Apparently I could have a tumour

Endocrinologist recommendations in/near West Sussex for Addison's / adrenals
Can anybody recommend an endocrinologist in West Sussex or nearby please who knows about adrenals and Addison's? It comes as no surprise to me, but a private blood screen has just shown very low cortisol levels and a couple of other bits, that suggest an adrenal problem, possibly Addison's. I've not

Evenity side effects
I would like to hear from people that have been on this drug. Do you have to take it at the exact same time every month? What happens if you’re traveling. Also, what are the side effects? One thing I read that made me very nervous. Was the black box. Warning of heart, attack or stroke. And the side

toothache related pain on teriparatide? / forteo / forsteo / terrosa
it shouldn't cause tooth problems, as far as i can tell, but - i'm wondering. on another topic, isn't it the state of things when we ask each other specialist questions due to being unable to get the info from doctors. barely able to ask, as i don't know the questions at the time. there's professional

Update #10: The Adrenal Gateway
STTM argue that this issue of "pooling" can be overcome if we take cortisol (either in the form of pharmaceuticals such as hydrocortisone, or ACE,

Dry eye following Trabeculectomy
Hello I had a right trabeculectomy nearly 4 months ago & all was well until about a week ago. I have used regular lubricating drops as I have had the same surgery in my left eye that was complicated by uveitis. I have tried a variety of lubricating drops & eventually Theoloz gel was recommended & worked

Forteo input (good or bad)
Has anyone had good (or bad) luck with Forteo daily shots? I am still having fractures while on Prolia shots, so they want me to "upgrade" to Evenity or Forteo. I have a fair amount of input on Evenity, but none on Foreo. Any input would be appreciated.

cost of Forteo, Tymlos, Evenity, Prolia in USA
after being on HRT for a year my numbers have worsened and I now have osteoporosis in spine and both hips in the -3 range. In addition I need a biopsy for breast lump. Ugh. So I’m faced with choosing a new osteoporosis drug. Besides the side effects they all seem to have, I’m considering the cost as
