Sudden diagnosis of CKD3 a few months following adrenalectomy
The
adrenalectomy
had to be done. Following that November surgery, there were also some severe UTIs for which she was hospitalized in December. A referral was given to see a urologist but then we never followed up on it since everything resolved after two rounds of antibiotics.

Fatigue symptoms vanished right after Synacthen test, but test showed sufficient cortisol levels. What is going on?
A couple of weeks ago, my mother had an unilateral
adrenalectomy
due to slightly raised adrenaline levels. Weeks afterwards she has felt very unwell, very tired, no initiative, anxious, no appetite, weak, at loss for words, dizzy, stomach aches and very obstipated.

GCA diagnosed February 2018 Tapering now from 5 to 4.5 Mg Prednisone and would appreciate input.
Eight weeks ago I had an
adrenalectomy
because I had a very rare Silent Pheochromocytoma. Blood tests this last week indicated that my remaining adrenal gland is doing its' job nicely and it's safe to reduce my prednisone further.

High intratumoral dihydrotestosterone is associated with antiandrogen resistance in VCaP prostate cancer xenografts in castrated mice
Furthermore, the slow tumor growth after
adrenalectomy
was associated with a low intratumor DHT concentration. Reactivation of androgen signaling in enzalutamide-resistant tumors was further shown by the expression of several androgen-dependent genes.

New to group, wanted to share experience
I went to the ER where I was all but turfed out the door when they found what looked to be mets to my lungs (confirmed with chest CT which caught the top half of a 18cm x 14 cm mass) I had a left radical nephrectomy,
adrenalectomy
, and removal of lymph nodes at the Cleveland Clinic.

Anxiety and Palpitations
I do have sub clinical cushings syndrome which is being conservatively managed for the time being as I dont have all the symptons required for an
adrenalectomy
(hope spelling correct). I am finding the anxiety and palpidations very distressing and annoying all day, even at work where I am now.

High Blood pressure pills
My BP is better after
adrenalectomy
, but it's not great (avg: 140/100) so I still take it. But I just stopped completely to see if I could get it out of my system and how would I feel. Ah, no different, and perhaps BP contributes to this pressure I feel in my eyes.

Doctor in Montreal
A friend I met online that had an
adrenalectomy
as well, we both keep up with each other and she was in severe fatigue and bloating. Since my own thyroid episode I've learned that the bloating can be thyroid related. She's had scans that reveal nothing.

Question about Cortisol
I am kinda low on cortisol from an
adrenalectomy
of one gland in April. I've been on Cortef since the surgery, on a taper for 5 months. I've been trying to learn about thyroid since I was dx'd in September w/Hashimotos.

Are u Hypothyroid with suppressed adrenals? Which meds first?
I am hypothyroid and since having Cushing's Syndrome and a left
adrenalectomy
, I have no right adrenal output and have to take a Hydrocortisone replacement. My question is do I take the Thyroxine meds first or the Hydrocortisone? I need both before I can feel well enough to function.
