Eliminating ADT.
Is there ANY PC Therapy that does not use
ADT
? I have been on
ADT
implants for over 2 years and will start Xtandi due to increased PSA's. I would love to stop
ADT
due to SE.

ADT + Docetaxel
Would like to know if I should continue the
ADT
(zoladex), which I have tolerated well for 3 years. Most trial info I have found (STAMPEDE, CHAARTED) tests
ADT
alone vs
ADT
+ Docetaxel, where the combination outcome is superior.

Input on Timing of Initial ADT after RP/SRT Failed
For the group: ▫ Does starting
ADT
early delay metastasis? ▫ If
ADT
is started early, will that make the cancer
ADT
resistant earlier? ▫ Aside from not experiencing the
ADT
side effects, is there an advantage to delaying the start of
ADT
?

Interpreting blood tests
I've been on
ADT
for 4 months in preparation for RT and then HDR BT. I have localised G8 with an initial PSA of 8.1 Prior to commencing
ADT
, my PSA inexplicably dropped to 4.94 but then rose to 5.37 within 2 months.

ARASENS Darolutamide vs Placebo
The multiplier is about a factor of 2 better for Darolutamide +
ADT
+ Docetaxe, compared to Placebo +
ADT
+ Docetaxel. The Cohort was High Risk men. https://ascopubs.org/doi/10.1200/JCO.23.00041

ADT Side Effects and Supplements.
My kidney gfr was in the 80 to 90 range before

. My bilirubin was 1.8 before

and now it is .5. Very mild hot flashes and a little weight gain but pretty good energy for a guy nearing 74 years of age.

Does urinary frequency/urgency diminish after cessation of ADT?
Im seeing online there may be a correlation to
ADT
. Has anyone’s frequency/urgency diminished after finishing
ADT
? Bonus question: I also lost 1 1/2” on erection. Looks like I may be SOL on that one, but anyone have any length restoration after
ADT
? Thanks

ADT failure
We saw my Dad's MO on 5/23. Over the course of 4 weeks my dad's PSA moved from 1.46 to 2.14, He said we need to be on Zytiga for three months before we can deem it a failure, but just like Xtandi, it appears my dad had limited help with it. We have talked about the next steps, chemo and pluvicto. My

Improved chances of success with ADT?
I have three months to go but am doing month to month and am told that every month of
ADT
means one more month for it to wear off, i.e. six months of
ADT
takes a year to wear off and, worse, that after three months the odds of ED being permanent greatly increase.
