Had my appointment
Thank you for everyone's advice a few weeks ago. I had my long awaited appointment today. I shared my symptoms, along with frequencies etc. I explained my usual stress response which is very different to the symptoms I'm getting. The Dr listened to my chest, said there wasn't a wheeze but it sounded

Had pulse field ablation April 15.
I'm 82. retired US nurse-anesthetist. I had the ablation for paroxysmal Afib April 15 ,It wasn't a difficult experience considering I am a high-risk anesthesia patient due to scoliotic restrictive lung disease and asthma. It only took about 1,1/2 hrs. (I have all the records on my patient portal.)

Advice needed please
hi everyone. I’ve literally just signed up because I’m so upset and need some advice. After suffering with asthma for 30+ years, my doctor today refused my repeat prescription for a ventolin inhaler. When asked why, the receptionist said I had one in March. I will be booking an appointment tomorrow

there’s always a silver lining if you’re not the one suffering
well I didn’t laugh, I have shown lots of concern and given what I thought was sound advice. Grumpygrampy tripped in the bathroom. Silly sod only went and broke the toilet seat lid 🙄 in my humble opinion I would hazard a guess he’s broken a couple of ribs. So lots of pain relief, bit of rest then doing

breathing trouble
I’ve been RA positive for a few years now. I also have hypothyroidism. I’ve been having serious trouble breathing predating my RA diagnosis. I’ve been to pulmonologist, cardiologist, ENT , and a Gastroenterologist and emergency room. No one seems to know what’s going on. I have some evidence of reflux

Does Fostair Makes You More Sensitive to Allergens?
Hi guys, I was diagnosed with exercise-induced asthma triggered by allergy around 6 months ago. My doctor gave me Fostair + Montelukast to manage it. But since i started taking these my symptoms increased 10 fold. What use to be occasional chest tightness during my routine running + unable to run

Echo results.
Hi I have afib, not usually too often but have had a few episodes this year. On all the usual meds. Have just been given an inhaler as hyperinflated patches were found on my lungs in a chest x ray. Anyway had the results of my latest echocardiogram yesterday and was wondering if you good people can interpret

Nasal Polyps from asthma
I'm wondering if anyone else who has asthma also suffers from nasal polyps. I'm on a corticosteroid inhaler for my asthma and corticosteroid nose spray for my nasal polyps, they seem worse in the winter, sometimes completely blocking my nasal passages. If anyone else suffers from these have you found
