COELIAC DISEASE WITH IBS
I take
amitriptyline
at night for the pain. I have had meds for acid reflux but they really don't work for me. If anyone has coeliac disease and IBS symptoms I would be very interested to know that I am not alone!!

Migraines worsening
I have been to the doctor and he's put me on 10mg
amitriptyline
and 50mg sumatriptan. Both of which seem to be doing nothing.

Constant pain
The doctor said it was linked to diabetic nerve damage and gave me
amitriptyline
. At first it helped now I've had a bad flare up. Constant pain and feeling of needing to pee but no relief when I do. There's no stinging or burning when I go. Just the bladder pain. I'm going back to go this week.

8 weeks of daily headaches :-(
I am taking Naproxen twice daily,
amitriptyline
at night, receiving chiropractic treatment and even bought new glasses. I am signed off work as I can't even walk upstairs without it making my headaches worse :-( really fed up and miserable now.

Amitriptyline, celexa, and klonopin
I have been off
amitriptyline
now for 3 weeks. The doctors took all my meds off me 3 weeks ago bc of serotonin toxicity. The withdrawals were horrid. Then a week later they started me back on 5mg of celexa and 4 days ago klonopin to sleep. My stomach pain is just grueling.

Prednisolone diary 8 - round in circles
But his suggestions were precisely opposite to my rheumys - to cut down the
amitriptyline
and not to start the gabapentine he prescribed. Instead, SSRIs might help reduce dream sleep in favour of increased deep sleep. So it was good to have been checked out, but I am no closer to resolving things.

Spinal Cord Cavernoma
I was prescribed with
Amitriptyline
and Lyrica, but tge side effect us even more unacceptable. I experienced rage , depression and increased body weight. So i stopped drinking them. I sorted in drinking my homemade concoction which mostly comprise ginger root to help me with pain and inflammation.

My doctor prescribed this medication awhile back for anxiety and pain. Me being I didn't take it longer than 2 days and said the heck with that lol Anyways now that I'm thinking a bit more clearly on my situation.... maybe I should give it a try. I suffer from anxiety, pain in my shoulder, and also

Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Hypermobility
I've been put on
amitriptyline
to see if that will help and I'm off work whilst it gets into my system. A couple of weeks into the medication and I don't feel like it's helping enough . Do I go back to work and just not take it or wait to see if I get redeployment and see if that helps.

Can you develop an allergic reaction to meds after taking them for a while?
Have any of you ever had this kind of reaction to either:- Azathioprine, hydroxychloraquine,
amitriptyline
, lansoprazol, tramadol, naproxen. Bearing in mind I've been on all of them for a number of years EXCEPT for aza which has been only 8 months.

Types of folate and B6 to accompany B12
Several visits to the Dr and ended up on fluoxetine (nightmare drug) so stopped after 2 weeks, then
amitriptyline
(tired all the time with no relief). Managed to convince GP to refer to neuro. He asked if B12 had been tested and this is where my research into B12 began!

Feeling low
I've been prescribed
amitriptyline
to help me sleep as the night sweats are stopping me sleeping. Is this normal to feel this way. No one seems to understand and just keep telling me I'm still in early stages of recovery.

Update
I've had various health issues that have meant for the last decade I have been on paracetamol, codeine, ibuprofen,
amitriptyline
. I couldn't cope with statins although I tried a few. It was around that time I started putting on the weight.

Personally not good!
He couldn't work out what was wrong with me and kept asking me questions about my sanity rather than my IBS.. he decided he wanted to put me on
Amitriptyline
bearing in mind I had a young child to look after. I tried it once and I felt so bad I didn't even take a second dose.

Worried about husband....
He does have a problem staying asleep but nightly
amitriptyline
helps this. During the next few months we went to our local hearing centre to try a generic hearing aid with a tinnitus masker. That didn't help at all.
