CHANGE OF BIOLOGIC TREATMENT
Hello, I have had Rheumatoid arthritis since my late 30s (77 now). I had several biologic treatments , some of which did not really control the RA well… The best biologic was Enbrel (Etanercept) weekly injections. It gave me my life back for 14 years until I had my second knee replacement operation

Hi, been on Armour for 12 years. Fortunate to have it prescribed by my GP & there has never been a problem but the pharmacy at the surgery say there is a problem & they can't get it. They have recently changed hands & it has been a problem to get the particular brand of another medicine I need to not

had my initial consultation
I went and saw the endometriosis specialist for my initial consultation. He said he’d already read the symptoms (that I’d had to send in to be offered an appointment.) I gave him a new list cause it included symptoms I hadn’t previously mentioned, he read it and scanned it on his phone. He said normally

Post surgery pain
I previously posted a question about post surgical pain and Belbuca (buccal Buprenorphine,). I had hip replacement one week ago. The pain is excruciating. I conferred with my surgeon prior to the surgery because I was afraid of this. He told me not to worry. Ha! I am taking Oxycodone every 6 hours

Driving with RA
I was diagnosed with RA many years ago. I have seen a consultant once or twice a year until covid. No-one has ever told me that I should not drive. I don'y feel unsafe but I only take short tips now. I have never felt that my hands are making my driving difficult. I can hold the steering wheel comfortably

Possible stroke ?
Hi everyone I was discussing medications issues with surgery pharmacist yesterday. He asked why I was taking Clopidogrel (I am having serious oseophagal spasms) then said oh yes possible stroke. I am stunned no one has mentioned this to me. As far as I knew my GP moved me from aspirin to Clopidogrel

Period pain after surgery
Hi everyone, looking for some advice. I had surgery to remove endo on my uterosacral ligament in Feb this year. My usual horrendous period pain seemed to be improving each month after surgery. My period pain this month however has been awful to the point I was on the floor screaming in pain this morning

Burning heels
My sister-in-law has for a few weeks now had a burning sensation around the edges of her heels and more recently tingling down the outside edge of her feet. It's worst when direct pressure on her feet eg when driving. A podiatrist has told her most likely neuropathy as a result of previous surgery she
