Astaxanthin
It seems to have potential as a very powerful antioxidant but too much anti-oxidants can also be a bad thing (based on vitamin E and beta-carotene supplementation research) so I think correct dosage will be important. https://examine.com/supplements/

A few others that have shown potential in this area are : R- Alpha Lipoic Acid (R-ALA) Curcumin Quercetin Berberine Milk Thistle / Silymarin
Astaxanthin
Conclusion Iron overload in the brain is detrimental to PwP and everyone else.

Five Common Supplements That Have Shown Benefit In Glioblastoma Studies
Astaxanthin
5. Andrographis The first supplement I would like to discuss is
Melatonin

Why am I still putting on weight?
I also take vitamin D with K2, B12, low dose iron, thyro complex which has a few things in it, and omega 3 &
astaxanthin
. I’m dairy, gluten, soya and alcohol intolerant and try to eat mainly whole foods (not processed).

Split NDT over 24 hours?
Spirulina, chlorella and
astaxanthin
at 6.30am Iron, multi vits,
astaxanthin
at 4.00pm. I used to take magnesium at 9.00pm but since starting NDT a month ago i decided to take it in the night to avoid any potential foggy headedness - so I chose to take it at bedtime, 9pm.

A recent clinical study suggests
astaxanthin
helps maintain cognitive health and, more specifically, may support the function of short-term memory.

Orange eyelids
I do take some orange supplements (curcumin,
astaxanthin
, and also the colorful and tasty BIRM) and eat lots of orange-ish foods (orange, yellow & red peppers, oranges, grapefruit, carrots, cinnamon, salmon). Has anybody experienced this? It's weird.
