Good news from the ATTLAS trial for patients with EGFR mutations and ALK translocations.
Treatment with
atezolizumab
, bevacizumab, paclitaxel, and carboplatin (ABCP) was significantly more effective than pemetrexed plus carboplatin or cisplatin https://dailynews.ascopubs.org/do/

I was treated with 4 rounds of
atezolizumab
/carboplatin/etoposide (chemotherapy and immunotherapy). A pet/CT scan shows it was effective, and I fared better than I expected going in, but definitely have fatigue and weakness.

CDK 12 mutation and Immunotherapy
I have the CDK12 mutation which is apparently known to be a drug target or to predict sensitivity to
Atezolizumab
(Tecentriq PD-1 Checkpoint Inhibitor), hence there is open Immunotherapy trial called BoB (NCT03767075). I meet the trial doctor next week.

NGS Test/Next-Generation Sequencing Important to have done.
In May of 2022, with my 15-3 at 70, he wanted to put me in a trial for XL092 alone or with
ATEZOLIZUMAB
- Tecentriq. At this time, I asked for testing to make sure my original dx had not changed. The only test he did was for the P13k mutation, which came back neg.

Prostate cancer morphed into NEPC
Now I'm on carboplatin, etoposide and
Atezolizumab
- chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The following article from Healthline is a great description of what took place, and possibly why.

BIOMARKER TESTING
Her lung tumor is currently stable and I want to get options if her current immunotherapy (
atezolizumab
every three weeks) becomes ineffective. There are several chemotherapy options, such as lurbinectedin (she was in a clinical trial for this drug, but was not selected to receive the drug).

Patient experience of Atezolizumab (Tecentriq)
Atezolizumab
(Tecentriq) will shortly be assessed by the Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) for use in NHSScotland, and we have been invited to provide a Patient Group Submission for the medicine. We are therefore trying to gather some patient experience quotes.

My husband has just had his second infusion of
Atezolizumab
/Bevacizumab, and is feeling awful. The initial infusion caused fatigue and some sickness but he is now experiencing chills, a bad cough, sickness, lack of appetite. He feels if this reaction is repeated in future infusions he will stop.

Recurrence of endometrial cancer in pelvic lymph nodes and para ortic lymph lymph nodes
Mum didn’t really get the chance to ask any questions but is continuing on the immunotherapy therapy trial drug of
Atezolizumab
A stupid question maybe but does the fact that the lymph nodes are now of a normal size mean that the cancer has been zapped up?
