Atomoxetine (Strattera) shortage
My pharmacy here in New Zealand has no supply for the last several weeks. Do we have any idea if there is an issue with supply? Any supply issues elsewhere?

Hello everyone, I am new to this group, and I hope to connect with parents who are experiencing the same struggle as me; regarding my question, what opinion can you give me about the medication '
Atomoxetine

Has anyone gone through ADHD with genetically bad cholesterol and found a lifestyle that works for them?
I think it's a dopamine issue like most people have, but it's different for me when my arms swell up like a balloon from taking different medications in the past with the worst of them being
atomoxetine
," The Atom Bomb" as I refer to it.

Atomoxetine advice
Hello I've been on Stratera for almost two weeks and it seems like I have even less motivation, focus, clarity, etc., then before I started on it. I'm taking 40 mg. Should I talk to my doctor about taking more or less or switching meds? Thank you

Need Small Support group for Adult Males who cannot take Rx for ADHD but are refining/building successful coping strategies
I took Ritalin first for about a month and then
atomoxetine
, or generic strattera, and they both absolutely destroyed my ability to sleep, which made everything worse. Wow... I do not wish that on anoyne.

How did you find a specialist to help you deal with your ADHD? I'm a married white dad, diagnosed a week before I turned 60. Help...
This was 13 days after starting 40mg of
Atomoxetine
. It keeps getting better as time goes on and I realize the narrative of my life is a lie, I have ADHD. I started with a therapist, but he was not well versed in ADHD. How do I find a good one?

Supplementing with Micronutrients
Have others used either of these, particularly in a child already on one or both of guanfacine or
atomoxetine
? I'd love to hear whether it worked for you. Thanks!

I get little spurts of energy and motivation these days, but mainly not. 4/1 I had a good start with
atomoxetine
, but 2 to 3 weeks after starting a higher dose, it seemed like many of the positive effects faded away.

Any parents of kids on Atomoxetine, please share when your child’s doctor is concerned about child’s too high pulse.
Have anyone else been told to monitor child’s pulse on
Atomoxetine
? For me the frustration is that it’s our 3rd doctor now and none of the doctors told me that increase in heart rate is a risk both with stimulants and with
Atomoxetine
too.

In a slump
I started taking
atomoxetine
about 1 month ago and have plans to titrate up a bit. Just started 35mg/day (one 10 mg pill and one 25 mg pill a day). Going slow because I'm very sensitive to meds of all sorts. I know how I should do this so I'm not looking for dosing advice.

Lowering Atomoxetine daily dose due to high pulse. Anyone had this resolving after lowering daily dose?
I suppose this time Guanfacine… I am worried that Guanfacine also will give some adverse reactions and then what next… It’s scary because
Atomoxetine
really works fine for him. Has anyone had a positive story with lowering pulse when reducing daily dose of
Atomoxetine
?

Stopping Atomoxetine and decision not to reintroduce any medication until the summer holidays. Any experience from parents who stopped
We had to stop
Atomoxetine
because my son has developed adverse reaction- severe tachycardia. Reducing the dose didn’t make the difference in pulse. Only once we stopped completely now his pulse is back to normal ranges for his age.

New to Atomoxetine & Clonidine - Feeling Restless and Distracted
Hi everyone, I'm new to this group and just started taking
Atomoxetine
and Clonidine for my ADHD (one day ago). I felt okay in the morning, but by midday, I got restless and left work to go home for a nap. After waking up, focus was still a challenge, although slightly improved.

Thinking of switching son to Intuniv (Guanfacine) - any thoughts and advise from parents who’s kids take Intuniv as a sole ADHD medication
Hi, My son experiences tachycardia on
Atomoxetine
. We lowered the dose and his pulse has not gone down much. I believe it is a train on his heart and I don’t think this is good for him long term.

I'm currently on
atomoxetine
40mg and they're making me feel really dizzy and sick in the morning and it last about 90 minutes I told my psychiatrist and it didn't give any suggestions except to make sure I eat which I always do but now he's increased the dose to 60mg and I'm worried they make me feel

Any experience having a child on 2 different non stimulants (for example Strattera and Guanfacine) and how it controls ADHD
I really would be devastated to have to stop
Atomoxetine
because of his pulse being slightly too high😩
