I had a catheter ablation on 16th May first one and have now developed
atrial
flutter
. Which I understand can be common. I have had 2 cardioversions in the last 10 days which both lasted 24 and 48 hours. I'm back in persistent
atrial
flutter
again and just don't know where to put myself.

Golf after ablation
Hello all I am due to have my ablation for
atrial
flutter
/ left side
atrial
tachycardia in a couple of weeks. I am down to play 18 holes of golf on successive days 10 days after that; is this over-ambitious? Should I leave it longer and scratch from those events? Thanks

Experience with amiodarone
I have had episodes of AF and more recently
atrial
flutter
. My arrhythmia nurse took me off flecainide because of the
atrial
flutter
and put on solatol which didnât keep me in rhythm and Iam now in persistent AF and prescribed Amiodarone.

Post Atrial flutter
It wasn't the same as usual when he has had Arrythmia but for severe
atrial
flutter
and it was a rushed job in A & E where he was only partially sedated so he felt it. His heart rhythm/ speed is back to normal but he feels rubbish. Normally after the procedure he feels well again.

Diltiazem
Had an ablation for
atrial
flutter
last year bur still suffering from shortage of breath and episodes of AF which usually last for a couple of hours. Taking Dabigatran and Flecainide but have now been prescribed diltiazem 60mg twice a day. Has anybody had experience of diltiazem?

Does persistent/constant afib lower the heart ejection fraction?
Newbie question - it hadnât even occurred to me but if one (aka my husband) has persistent/constant afib (and he has constant
atrial
flutter
also we think) will that most likely impact the heart ejection fraction?

flutter not fibrillation
Hi all I have paid to see an EP (privately) today who has confirmed 100% I have
atrial
flutter
and no fibrillation? Anyone else just have flutter? He has recommended an ablation to sort it out and told me to stop taking Flecainide which makes me nervous.

Thudding heart!
I have just been diagnosed with
Atrial
Flutter
with rapid ventricular response and given bisoprolol 2.5mg as well as blood thinners. So, now my heart rate and blood pressure are within normal parameters - but I have a very "thuddy" feeling heartbeat.

Atrial Flutter.
Having had periods of "
Atrial
Flutter
" I would have said quite the opposite, having often thought of it more in terms of close on flat-lining - thoughts anyone.

ECG revealed
atrial
flutter
.. I had holter ECG during a five day inpatient stay and the diagnosis was persistent
atrial
flutter
with asymptomatic slow left ventricular rate. I now await cardioversion in two days and found this lovely website for advice and reassurance đ

Recently joined HealthUnlocked
I have joined HealthUnlocked as I was diagnosed with
atrial
fibrillation and
atrial
flutter
last year. It would be good to link up with others with a similar health issue.

He explained that I was experiencing
Atrial
Flutter
and the PIP Flecainide that I had started wouldnât help. After discussing the options he recommended having a cardioversion which was performed on Monday and now Iâm back in NSR.

Is this atrial flutter rather than sinus rhythm as reported?
6 years in permanent AFib after failed ablation for AFlutter If yes, is this a known problem with Kardia?

Post Second Ablation help pls
Inducing AF induced
Atrial
Flutter
with a very long cycle due to slow conduction across RA. Further ablation required at IVC end. Atrial Myopathy hence Av Node ablation should be done if AF recurs. The trouble is the AF episodes getting picked up by the PM in first place.

Sixth Ablation
Slipped into atypical
atrial
flutter
a month ago and the response has been rapid at Lovelace Heart. Hopefully theyâll find the latest rogue signals and this one will hold for a bit longer before we go the P&A final route. Send the docs and me good healing T&P.

Pacs, Please Go Away !
Had my second ablation for
atrial
flutter
back in September , first ablation was in 2016 for afib, that ablation worked for almost seven years. Have been having these weird extra beats, I felt them and they showed up on my Kardia . After some internet research, people told me they are pacs.

Atrial Flutter?
He is suspecting that I am also having
Atrial
Flutter
in addition to the
Atrial
Tachycardia. I have never had this rhythm before,.although they randomly initiated it during the first ablation in 2021. Does anyone have any good info on flutter? Is ablation usually successful?
