Hernia from debulking
Now on
avastin
maintenance every 3 weeks. In late February I developed incisional hernia. By march it was huge. Dr stopped
avastin
and sent me to a surgeon. Surgeon said he could not safely do it. Told me to wear a wrap. Do you have experience with this? I restarted
avastin
last week.

carbo/gem
I was diagnosed high grade stage 3c peritoneal in Autumn 2021, I have had carbo/taxol/
avastin
, debulking surgery. Followed by
avastin
alone which did not work, then carbo/caelyx which worked very well. I have had just over a year on Niraparib but sadly it is no longer working.

Gemcitabine and Avastin (no Carbo)
For my mom's second recurrence, the doctor suggested Gemcitabine and
Avastin
without Carbo, as she got kidney issues and potential liver mets with the last regimen with Carbo+Caelyx. Has anyone used Gem and
Avastin
without Carbo? Was it effective? Did you have any side effects?

4th round chemo worse since surgery, started feeling sick & stomach pains 😫
Hello lovely ladies I had 3 rounds of chemo along with
Avastin
& although I had many side effects, I was fortunate that sickness/nausea wasn't one of them. 5 weeks post interval surgery, I had round 4 (no
Avastin
this round) but tummy issues (swinging from diarrhea to constipation constantly) and nausea

immunotherapy for OVCA
I had various chemo’s , radiation, and
Avastin
as treatment. Note:
Avastin
helped me stay on maintenance for a long time. Recently, my one tumor had grown, while the others stayed the same size. I just had a follow up CT scan to see how the immunotherapy was working.

Carbo/Gem
Previously: Carbo/taxol/
avastin
, carbo/caelyx, Niraparib. I have just had treatment 2 of cycle 1 of carbo/gem and I have a very itchy red rash between my neck and just below my breast. I am using e45 and taking anti histamine at present.

XB0002-101 trial ( jewel??)
It would be the solo drug for me, not the other arms of the trial which includes
avastin
and nivolumab in conjunction with trial drug. Thanks

helpful article
I feel people are often wondering why they can’t have
Avastin
or PARPs again and this article gives good scientific answers about many results from trials. It doesn’t help me because I’m on third line chemo and this only covers first and second.

avastin side effects
I’m currently receiving
avastin
immunotherapy infusions every 3 weeks. I’m wondering if others are on this and what side effects you might be experiencing.

Post 2nd line chemo options
She has her oncologist meeting later today and she is particularly worried that, as she has had
Avastin
before, that there will be nothing they can do now to try and keep the cancer at bay.

PV and AMD?
I've recently been diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration and have been treated with intravitreous
avastin
. I've seen some papers suggesting that AMD is more common for people with MPNs. Has anyone else had this experience? Steve, ,age 79

Normal/not normal?
I've got 2 more
avastin
to go and I'm on lynpraza still. I haven't had a scan since last May and haven't seen my oncologist since a year last September, I just get phone calls off pharmacy to check up and send out more lynpraza every 8 weeks.

Clear Cell Progression
My taxol/carboplatin &
Avastin
chemotherapy treatment was discontinued after 3 infusions, as CT scan showed progression of tumors, and invasion into my liver. The doctors at UCSF have not much to offer as no targetable gene mutations were identified.
