Hello all. I hope today finds you all coping one way or another😀 Now having posted a few weeks back about severe stiffness & fibro and having many of you kindly answer and offers of some really helpful advice I decided unless I try and make a change my life was at a real stagnant phase..... Now

AD's and IBS
Hi everyone, I'm sure you've all heard about being or have been prescribed some anti-depressants for your IBS. I had a bad flare-up of symptoms about 8 months ago after I'd increased my initial 50mg dose of Sertraline to 100mg. I finished up with serotonin syndrome after taking the higher dose for

Duloxetine?
Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone could tell me about their experience of Duloxetine? One of my GP's mentioned it to me during treatment for my IBS. I've since done research and seen that Duloxetine is better for my kind of IBS. I'm not mega enthused about starting a new anti-depressant, but

sertraline vs citalopram vs fluoxetine
what are peoples preferences? Which one has the least side effects? Experiences please. Citalopram was too severe for me.

PET/CT Scan Normal, Bloods Normal, but Responds to Steroids!
I tapered off prednisolone completely to prepare for the scan, as requested. I had been reducing by 1mg/day every 3 weeks. When my appointment letter arrived, I accelerated this to -1mg/day every week. That meant I took the last pill the day before the scan. I had to be driven there and back because

Any suggestions?
Last September I experienced extremely cold feet, even though they were warm to the touch. Pain, tingling, and a tapping-like sensation moved up my legs. My GP referred me and I saw a consultant for an initial consultation who lined up tests, including MRI, etc. I had EMG and NCS tests yesterday (Friday

Strange episodes
Hi all, I’m going to reach out to my GP but wondered if anyone else has had similar symptoms. I was diagnosed with endometriosis following a lap in 2020. Last year I started experiencing strange episodes of feeling light headed, dizzy, nauseous and suddenly quite sweaty. It would last about 15

Numb on fluoxetine?
I guess I already passed 1 month of
fluoxetine
w this dose and all I feel is going down and going back to depression. I have been really dedicated to eat healthy to help any issues but my stomach is so full all the time, I feel no pleasure on eating anymore.

I am on antidepressants, called
fluoxetine
60 mg, but they aren’t helping at all. I can’t work as I’m not well everyday. I’ve been getting SSP but that runs out in Dec. I am in the process of applying for PIP but it’s a long process and if I do get it, I’m worried it won’t be by Dec.

One of the things he recommended is the prescription of
fluoxetine
( prozac), which I have now started. The dose hasn’t yet been titrated up, but I’m tolerating it well so far. The research behind the recommendation, is Dr Paul Mischel from Stanford University and his team.

Recently Diagnosed Fibromyalgia
Hi all first post on this forum. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last week but have had symptoms (fatigue, low mood, whole body aches) for ages and took early retirement in December. I’ve got osteopenia and been prescribed Gabapentin and co-codamol for compression fractures and disc compression

duloxetine withdrawal
I’m looking for any suggestions to coming off duloxetine after 10years+ and if anything helped these awful and debilitating symptoms I’m having. I’ve gradually reduced from 60mg since last May 2022, currently on 20 mg every 3 days and desperate to stop taking them as I’m this close but I feel so awful
