High Peak Flow but Wheezing and Phlegm x 4+ Months and Intense Fatigue
I usually only get asthma as a secondary condition - with hayfever or a chest cold, etc.
Since the first week of January, I've had constant fluid on the lungs - now a yellowy brown, which I cough up - but wouldn't say I have a cough.
I have also had asthma symptoms and intense fatigue and tiredness. Breathing takes effort, but I can often breath a lung-full. Just did 650 on a peak test. So very confused.

I am not sure about the high peak flow but different people have different lung capacity. Mine is usually low but my husbands is as far as it will go! What has ypur peak flow been in the past? The way I guage it is when the phlem goes green or the wheeze becomes a crackle then it is a chest infection that needs antibiotics. But it sounds like you have the beginnings of a chest infection that is dragging on. I would see your GP as it could be that a short course of prednisalone will clear it up before it gets any worse. Wheezing and not breathing well will make you feel exhausted but you know that already. Hope you can get it sorted soon.
