I had my first 6 month appointment with my liver nurse last week. As part of the review I had a routine bloody test for LFT. My previous blood test was on the 14th Dec 23 and my numbers were gradually reducing. I just had the results this morning and pretty much all my levels have increased including

IBS and Methane Gas
I have had stomach problems for the last 20 years but they seem to have gotten much worse. I'm 75 and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about how bad my stomach feels...bloating, pain, full after eating a little bit and pain. It seems like it's constant. I also have a colon full of

INR control
Hi don't know if this is of any interest to anyone ,but my INR has always been impossible to stabilize My heamatologist suggested taking a small dose of vitamin K and increasing the warfarin dose I didn't do this as don't want to be taking any more supplements, So I decided to massively increase my intake

Dosage for gabapentin enacarbil ( also known as horizant).
I have been on gabapentin neurontin for several months but I read that on the Mayo website that the time release version (horizant) is better suited for treating RLS. I currently take 1200 mg of gabapentin neurontin in two doses at 7 and bedtime. I have now convinced my doctor to prescribe the horizant

I have been dealing with a skin condition for almost 3 years. I have seen other posts like mine. One person was even trying to get on a talk show. I too have been dismissed by health providers. I have had one person mention Reactive perforating collagenosis (RPC) Reactive perforating collagenosis (RPC

sessile polyp
Hi After a Colonoscopy, I was told I had a Sessile Serrated Polyp in right colon. It was removed at the time. The consultant had said these things are hard to see and don’t always bleed, so aren’t always picked up on screenings. He said they are precancerous and an annual Colonoscopy is good to keep

Rituximab experience?
Hi all. I have had large vessel vasculitis for over three years which, despite several different treatments, is proving difficult to control. An FDG PET CT scan last November showed some inflammation in all areas of my aorta still. I have just started Rituximab infusions. This has made me feel even more

Annatto (E160b) - Problems with beige food?
I have suffered with almost continuous IBS symptoms for 10 years now. Intense stomach pain a few hours after eating (usually night times), followed by the feeling of glass passing through my bowels, wind, bloating, cramps and urgent, rather explosive trips to the toilet. I usually self-starve for a couple

Looking for some assistance
Hello, I've recently become very intolerant to gluten which has been a bit of a shock. I read online that it can be triggered by anxiety and it happened at the time of a serious family crisis. Can anyone tell me if this has happened to them and if so, if it's likely to recede or am I am stuck with it

new NTG diagnosis
I’ve just been diagnosed with bilateral NTG. I think I was in shock in the consultation room, I couldn’t ask or even think of many useful questions. I have structural damage in both eyes & pressures were 20 adjusted to 18 for corneal thickness. I’ve started drops once a night. I had a funny turn yesterday

I’ve been told that I will be on ATD meds for life, I’m 63 and have been taking Lupron and Zytiga for going on two years. I asked my MO about Orchiectomy and he said if I did it he would still recommend Lupron. Can you guys please share your thoughts and experiences? Thank you in advance

anticoagulation fear
Hi! I started on anticoagulation in August. I started with apixaban 5 mg twice a day. I got very bad intermittent chest pains that worried me from the medicine that I never had before. Then I got gastritis. the doctor switched me to half dose to see if I could tolerate that and the same thing happened
